Florence and Walton each have their own unique parks and recreation system tailored to the needs of its residents. Hebron, Rabbit Hash, and Burlington are unincorporated and the parks sytem is managed by Boone County.

Our parks are used for community events for the benefit of all our residents. Boone County has an abundance of beautiful green spaces that provide an ideal setting for a variety of activities, from festivals and concerts and sports tournaments. The open and accessible nature of our parks encourages inclusivity, allowing people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy what our area has to offer.

Preserving these areas is crucial for the environment. Boone Cliffs State Nature Preserve is an example of old growth natural habitats being protected.
