Memorial Park - Independence, Kentucky

Memorial Park is the 26 acre flagship park in the City of Independence, Kentucky. Established in 2004, it has become the hub for some of the City's largest events. There is always an event or two scheduled from Easter through Christmas.

  • 2024 Summer Basketball Camp
    • June 17-19, 2024
    • The Independence, Kentucky 2024 Summer Basketball Camp will be held at Memorial Park and led by Simon Kenton Basketball coaches Jeff and Brenden Stowers. Registration on the City of Independence website.
  • Party in the Park

    Party in the Park is a FREE summer concert series presented by the City of Independence. Music starts at 6pm

    • June 13 - Featuring Doghouse and White Liger
    • July 11 - Featuring the Billy Rock Band and Arlen Gun Club

  • Independence Annual Easter Egg Hunt

    Every Spring the City of Independence hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children of Independence. The Easter Egg Hunt is held at Memorial Park.
